Yup!!! Guy and gals (and other entitys), pros and no pros, i need opinions xD
this time is not about my technique or anaotmy skillz (wich needs lots of improvement) but about my finished work......
They looks like a "finished artowkr"?
Wath do you think of the borders? they make the character stand our or are they already boring xD?
The backgrounds do theyr job or i need to gives them more time xD?
The lineart with different colors dosnt looks as defined as the black lineart or looks good?
The title and my sign looks good or i shoudl change them =o?
I just want to see opinions about this. I doubt i can be a proffesionl artist (not for now) but i really want to make my pics looks the more professional i can. Thats why i usually stick to the "artwork style" of each series and i put loads of details, from each part on the weapons or designs in the clothes (or even the colors of the skin of the characters)
Also, i been drawing and finishing some artowkrs and i had some problems making the linearts. i cant make a straigth and good line with different shapes (thinck in the midle and slim in the ends), i ened to make each line some times and ise the eraser to make it perfect...soo it take me loads of times.
Then i started to see lots of linearts in ehre and while watching some outstanding arts...in close view, theyr linearts are not perfect, they are kinda shacky in some places or doont touch each other (or they are sketchy) but they still looks awesome =O
Soo i feel kinda weird how i am the only one (or one of the few) who makes each line many times until is perfect and spent some hours on it but still i dont fully like the result o_O
Soo should i need to be less obsesive with lineart xD? stop doing it with different thicknes? continue takeing good care of it like untill now??
C´mon, discus! OwO

Well Lineart is important, especially if you're trying to hit the anime-color. It's up to you how perfect the lineart could be (and definition of "perfect is different for people :))....but there're a lot of things that also should be put into consideration such as shape, color, etc...
Anyway, your art is awesome . You should post more picture :) sketches or color, it doesn't matter because the more you do the more exdperience you'll achieve on the subject you've drawn.
And you'll definitely will finish your art easier than before...(hoho just like standard RPG game)
sorry for bad english ^^

i forgot to Sign In *LOL*
Hello Mr. tomatoma anon =O
shape...thats wath i need to imrpove a lot, give shape with the colors xD
But yhea, sketchs can be helpfull to achive the exp point for a fast level up o_o
in fact, i only post on the internet 20% of wath i really draw (the rest is unfinished-sketchy xDDD)
If you're using Photoshop, there's a handy LAYER OPACITY SETTING. You can actually draw a really sketchy drawing on the lowest layer, then fill the second upper layer with white and then set the second layer opacity to 70-90%.
Finally, the third layer is used for final touchdown. You can just follow the instructor line on the lowest layer. Effective trick because that way one can take care of the line boldness issue for sure.
Or maybe you have used the trick already *LOL* ID
P.S: Why don't u post the sketches on [fight and fear] it would be interesting..
Oh i've written too many words ..ha..ha...........
I think the top priority in making art are two things. First, is feeling good about creating something and then, is there's no perfect way to do art.
But I have to add, facts are facts. Using different thickness on lines gives the artwork a broader range of perception, artwork with same width lines losses depth.
Backgrounds should be light, if you want your character to stand out, and just a little heavier if your character is interacting actively with it.
Details are a plus, and I know you love doing those. I don't xD that's why I put more effort in my coloring. You've gotta balance out what you like to do with what you don't like as much. That way the artwork is more balanced, I think.
I don't have a scanner, so I take pictures with my camera and paint the pictures. It makes it a lot harder but it can work if you try hard enough :)
My lineart in close up is a mess xD but since I pretty it up in photoshop, I don't mind much. Even so, I'm not always happy with my pictures, there's always something I would've done better after I'm finished, but I don't let that get to me and do better next time.
The more you draw, the better you get. I think the most important thing is feeling good doing what you do, If you love obsessing over lines, go ahead! If you love being lazier, go ahead :) Just make sure you love what you do and it will be worth it :)
Hello again toma xD
Thanks for the tip *^*, i already use it but for color and other elements (to make shadows stand out with some transparecys xD)
Mmmm...i already post some sketchs here but its been a while xDDDD, i am very shy to post my sketchs x3
